| WPD Bike Patrol |
Our primary goal for the bike patrol is to enhance community relations and patrol effectiveness, while still maintaining Winterville Public safety and security. It is the priority of officers on bike patrol to operate in highly populated residential areas. Officers on bike patrol will also concentrate on patrolling parking lots and locations less accessible to motor vehicles. Bike patrol is a great way to have officers talk to people face to face. It is also a great stealthy way to approach drug dealers selling drugs. Please ride safely and always wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. |
